<h1>Create repositories</h1>
<p>The creating of a new empty repository is a simple process. We can do that through the CreateRepositoryAsync method to which passes only two parameters: the git repository name and team project name. The example to create a new repository:</p>

<p>Additionally, we can fork from an existing repository with the same method. Here we have to use the GitRepositoryCreateOptions class as the first parameter to describe properties of a parent repository like the id and reference. Then we have to run the CreateRepositoryAsync method with additional parameter: the branch to fork. The example to fork from an existing repository:</p>

<li>The GetRepositoryAsync method returns GitRepository object of a repository. It takes two parameters: the team project name and repository name.</li>
</ol>
</p>
<p>The example to get one repository:</p>

<p>To remove a repository, we can use the DeleteRepositoryAsync method that takes one parameter: the repository id.</p>
<p>The example to remove repository:</p>

<p>The DeleteRepositoryAsync method does not completely remove repositories. It moves repositories into the recycle bin that does not accessible on the team project settings page. We have to do the following steps to restore repositories from the recycle bin:</p>
<p><ol>
<li>Get the recycle bin contents through the GetRecycleBinRepositoriesAsync method.</li>
<li>Restore a repository through the RestoreRepositoryFromRecycleBinAsync function that takes the following parameters: the object of the GitRecycleBinRepositoryDetails class with the Deleted property, the team project name and id of removed repository.</li>
</ol>
</p>
<p>The example to restore deleted repository:</p>
