Russias financial contribution will be part of the talks, which could take two to three years to complete. The meeting on 26 May will be hosted by Mojca Kucler Dolinar, Slovenias minister for higher education, science and technology, and will be attended by Andrei Fursenko, the Russian science minister. It is expected to result in the EU and Russia signing a declaration of intent , a largely symbolic statement on collaboration.
