When I opened a few New York workers' comp records, I expected fairly simple, and the more I read, the more I realized the wording is doing a lot of work. The page I used while I was comparing the wording was
what a final ruling means for the case record to keep the terminology from becoming the whole problem. I eventually realized the doctor's wording can each tell you something different. I stopped jumping from one term to another, I matched the term to the stage of the case. That still does not turn one word tells the whole story, because the dates still matter. After I started breaking the notices into small pieces, I could tell what each entry was there for.
