HYT, the manufacturer of hydraulic-mechanical watches, has just unveiled a new pink and white version with the H1. The H1 Iceberg, a limited edition, features a ti case and a blue fluid-time indicator.
Since its launch with 2012, the HYT H1 collection has grown to 15 designs. As the first watch to help feature a fluid-time display, typically the H1 is now available in titanium with a white dial as well as a blue fluid-time indicator.
Typically the H1 Iceberg's mechanical design is identical to other H1 models, featuring a movement co-developed by Chronode and HYT. Essentially, it consists of a pair of distinct parts: a traditional technical movement with a 65-hour reserve of power and a fluid-time display element with twin bellows this drives the fluid-time present.
The glass tubes associated with the dial contain a couple liquids, one transparent along with the other blue. Time is usually indicated by a meniscus made by two immiscible essential fluids (the transparent liquid is definitely oily, the colored chemical is watery, and therefore could not mix). This meniscus travels forward until it reaches often the 6 o'clock position, in that case returns to zero being a retrograde hand.
The H1 is quite large, measuring 48. 8 mm in length and 17. 9 millimeters thick, but its titanium development makes it remarkably lightweight. Often the downward-sloping design of the tie and lugs makes it relaxed even for smaller hands.
